 Southport 1996 Steve's last night was at the December 2000 New Years Eve Party. More... 'Mike' purchased the club from 'Steve' and changed the name to "Mike's Place" and in 2001 and opened "Mike's Place" in Brisbane with Ian and Lyn. The X-Club was formed in 2004 when Greg and Jaqi and Steve and Mary purchased the Southport club! The partnership split not long after and the Southport venue was sold to developers forcing Greg and Jaqi to relocate the club, first to Tweed Heads for several months, then to Stradbroke Plaza in Southport.  Southport 2005 Other swingers clubs on the Gold Coast have come and gone or changed hands over the years. Their formats vary as do their clientele. Some clubs we wish were still around and some should never have been. It would be un-fair to mention a club by name without giving reference to all the clubs that exist, or have existed.
